The Venue
The Building Does The Decorating
A restored 1856 brewery dressed for Christmas. The exposed brick, original beams, and skylit winter garden do the heavy lifting. We add seasonal styling, warm candlelight, and greenery to complete the scene.
Four interconnected spaces shape the night: the bar for arrivals, the lounge for mingling, the winter garden for dining, and the covered terrace for fresh air without leaving the party. Up to 60 seated or 100 standing, exclusively yours. Music ends at 11pm with guests departing by 11:30pm, and Cambridge Heath Overground and Bethnal Green Underground are minutes away.

When should we book our Christmas party?
December dates at The Hackney are our most popular corporate bookings and they go early, so the sooner the better. If you are planning for a team of 50 or more, we recommend booking at least three to six months ahead. Get in touch and we will check availability for your preferred date.
What is the minimum guest count?
At The Hackney it depends on the format. The Christmas Long Lunch seats 30 to 60 guests. The seated evening packages take 50 to 60 guests. The standing evening packages take 75 to 100 guests. For other group sizes, just ask.
How many guests can The Hackney hold for a Christmas party?
The Hackney holds up to 60 guests seated or 100 standing, and the whole venue is yours for the night on an exclusive hire basis. Evening events run from 6pm, music ends at 11pm and guests leave by 11.30pm.
Can we add extras like a DJ or live music?
Yes, The Hackney can build extras into your Christmas party proposal. Popular extras include a DJ or live band, a live casino, extended bar hours, a photo booth, and a dessert or cake station.
Do you handle the Christmas decorations?
Seasonal venue styling is included in every Christmas package at The Hackney. The venue's architecture, from exposed brick and timber beams to warm lighting, provides a naturally festive backdrop, and we add seasonal touches throughout.
Is there a dress code?
The Hackney has no dress code for Christmas parties: that is entirely up to you. Some companies go black tie, others keep it casual. The venue works for both.
